Can I claim on my private health fund or medicare?

Rebates are available from private health funds for most patients with ancillary benefits (extras) cover and from Medicare for patients with an EPC referral form. Your GP will determine your eligibility.

Do I need to provide notice to cancel my appointment?

If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time to avoid paying the full fee. Giving adequate notice allows us to offer the appointment to other patients on the waiting list.

Do I need to have a face to face appointment?

The team at Munch Dietetics also offer phone or video consultations in the comfort of your own home. It is a great alternative as you as can receive the same experience without the travel time and parking expense. All relevant meal plans and resources will be emailed at the end of the appointment.

What should I expect during the initial consultation?

During your initial consultation, the dietitian will complete a detailed nutritional assessment discussing your relevant medical and family history, medication/supplements, weight and food history as well as other necessary aspects. From the information gathered, she will compose a personalised meal plan, provide specific dietary advice and answer any questions. Follow up consultations are encouraged, usually 1-3 weeks later in order to monitor progress, provide ongoing practical nutritional advice and support. Prior to your initial appointment, the dietitian requests that you complete a 3 day food and beverage diary.

Is there parking on-site?

Yes, there is 2 hours free parking available at the Westfield Bondi junction.
